Our team is globally distributed across 11 (and counting!) countries, bringing together diverse backgrounds and extensive experience collaborating with product, design, and development teams. For frontend-oriented roles, future Supernovans must demonstrate exceptional self-management and problem-solving abilities. Every day, we tackle complex challenges and build solid foundations that drive our product forward. Our frontend platforms are built using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Turbo, Vite and Electron—and we expect you to have outstanding expertise with these technologies as a starting point.

At Supernova, you’ll be responsible for:
• Building user-facing features that are used by many top tier companies
• Rapidly iterating with product teams to make the features even better
• Solving challenging problems like building advanced custom visualisations from the ground up or improving performance of (very) large data sets
• Adding real-time multiplayer capabilities to various aspects of our platform
• Improving our bleeding-edge documentation editor and the engine around it
• Using our own product in day-to-day work to dogfood new features
• Contributing to our homegrown design system called Dark Matter
• Building AI-powered experiences of various kinds
• Working on [unnanounced 👀] to redefine what product development is

We want to hear from you if you:
• Have 7+ years of developing React applications
• Have professional experience with most technologies mentioned above
• Launched multiple professional products in the past
• Worked in/with high-performing, English speaking teams
• Actively explore the idea of automating as much of your work as possible
• Previously worked on product development-related tooling
• Build project(s) on the side you’d like to tell us about
Tech & Tools we use:
• React, Next.js, Turbo / Webpack / Vite / Electron
• Typescript (exclusively)
• TanStack libraries (Query, Form, Router etc.)
• TipTap-based custom editor
• REST w/ hooks for static data, Websockets (w/ Liveblocks.io) for multiplayer
• Typescript, Node, Postgres, AWS in the backend
• Sentry and other logging means
• GitHub Copilot or equivalent
• GitHub, Slack, Notion
