Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a visionary AI Drug Discovery Development Leader to drive the strategy, development, and deployment of our AI-powered drug discovery solutions. This is a leadership role at the intersection of science, technology, and business — ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about shaping the future of AI in drug discovery.
Job Requirement
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the executive leadership team to define the company’s AI strategy, including “buy” vs. “build” approaches for AI technologies applied to drug discovery.
- Lead and grow a cross-functional team of AI scientists, software engineers, and bioinformatics experts to develop user-friendly AI platforms that accelerate internal R&D workflows.
- Oversee the design and development of intuitive web-based applications for internal users, with the potential to extend offerings for external clients or partners.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to assess commercialization opportunities for internal AI solutions, including partnerships, licensing, or productization.
- Act as a public advocate for the company’s AI vision — communicating achievements, strategy, and impact to investors, partners, and the broader scientific community.
- Stay at the forefront of AI advancements in drug discovery, proactively bringing in new ideas, tools, and partnerships that enhance the company’s competitive edge.
Other Conditions
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD/MS) in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, AI/ML, or related fields; strong background in drug discovery is highly preferred.
- Proven leadership in AI-driven drug discovery projects, either in biotech, pharma, or AI tech companies.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, model deployment, and building software platforms for scientific applications.
- Track record of cross-functional leadership — from scientific teams to software engineers and commercial stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to investors, partners, and scientific audiences.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing biotech environment.
