Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & R&D Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s semiconductor materials technology strategy and product development roadmap.
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in new material development, technology validation, and new product introduction (NPI) to mass production.
- Drive the development and commercialization of advanced semiconductor-related materials.
- Lead material characterization, reliability evaluation, and failure analysis (FA) activities to ensure product performance and quality.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Management
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and other internal teams to accelerate technology implementation and customer support.
- Monitor semiconductor industry trends and evaluate emerging technologies and potential business opportunities.
- Manage R&D projects, including project execution, budget planning, KPI achievement, and team capability development.
- Support technology roadmap planning, patent portfolio development, strategic technology partnerships, and resource integration.
Job Requirement
Education
- Master’s degree or above in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related fields.
Language Skills
- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in technical and business contexts.
Preferred Experience
- 10+ years of experience in materials research and development.
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing R&D teams.
Proven experience in one or more semiconductor-related fields, such as:
- Semiconductor packaging materials
- High-performance engineering plastics
- Polymer chemistry
Advanced functional materials
- Hands-on experience in material synthesis, formulation development, process optimization, and scale-up from laboratory to mass production.
- Strong experience collaborating with overseas customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams in English.
- Strong innovation mindset with strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
