Job Description
1.Training of Foreign Labor Construction Teams
• Develop a comprehensive training program and practical hands-on training plan for drilled-in pile construction personnel.
• Provide hands-on training using actual construction machinery to familiarize foreign labors with the complete drilled-in pile construction process.
• Conduct role-based training covering:
o Pile rig / drilling rig operation
o Machinery operator assistant
o Lifting and coordination of reinforcement cages / pile elements
o Surveying, positioning, alignment and verticality control
o Drilling, soil removal, hole cleaning and pile installation
o Daily equipment inspection and basic troubleshooting
o Construction safety and response to abnormal site conditions
• Evaluate trainees' competency and assist in identifying suitable candidates for machinery operators, foremen, crew leaders and key technical positions.
2. Drilled-In Pile Construction Technical Guidance
• Provide technical guidance throughout the complete construction process, including positioning, drilling, borehole depth and verticality control, soil removal / hole cleaning, pile installation, grouting and other related construction activities.
• Determine appropriate drilling methods, construction parameters and machinery operating procedures according to different ground and geological conditions.
• Provide guidance on common construction problems and troubleshooting methods, including:
o Difficult drilling
o Borehole deviation / verticality problems
o Borehole collapse
o Drill bit / tool jamming
o Underground obstructions
o Machinery malfunction
o Difficulty in pile installation
• Assist in establishing key quality-control checkpoints and guide crews in conducting self-inspection / in-process quality checks.
3. Machinery Operation and Equipment Management
• Demonstrate practical knowledge and operation of Rotary Drilling Rigs, Augers and other related drilled-pile / piling machinery and equipment.
• Assist in evaluating drilling and piling machines and auxiliary equipment/tools proposed for purchase, rental or project use, ensuring suitability for the construction requirements.
• Train operators to perform daily pre-start inspections, basic maintenance and initial troubleshooting of common equipment problems.
• Assist in establishing standards for machinery operation, inspection, maintenance and safety management.
4. Development of SOPs and Technical Standards
Convert practical field experience into standardized company documents and procedures for long-term use, including:
• Construction SOPs
• Standard manpower / crew configuration
• Machinery, equipment and tools allocation lists
• Daily Checklists
• Construction quality self-inspection checklists
• Machinery inspection checklists
• Abnormal-condition response procedures
• Training materials
• Practical machinery-operation competency assessment standards
Job Requirement
• 10+ years of relevant field experience in pile foundation construction, bored piles, drilled piles or drilled-in pile installation will be highly preferred.
• Previous practical experience in at least one of the following positions:
o Drilled-in Pile Foreman / Crew Leader
o Senior Piling Rig / Drilling Rig Operator
o Piling Construction Superintendent
o Piling Foundation Superintendent / Supervisor
o Drilling Equipment Technician / Specialist
• Must possess actual hands-on construction and machinery-operation experience, rather than only engineering management or theoretical knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of drilling, pile installation, machinery operation, construction safety and quality control.
• Ability to identify the causes of construction problems and provide practical on-site solutions.
• Ability to personally demonstrate machinery operation and conduct hands-on field training and crew supervision.

Ability to establish a construction crew from the ground up, including:

4. On-Site Problem-Solving
Ability to quickly assess geological, equipment and construction-related problems and lead the team in implementing effective corrective actions.
5. Safety Awareness
Strong understanding of the risks associated with heavy construction machinery, lifting operations and pile foundation construction, with the ability to establish safe operating practices and a strong safety culture.
Other Conditions
Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience:
• Experience leading or establishing drilled-in pile construction crews.
• Previous experience as a senior equipment operator, foreman or construction superintendent.
• Experience training apprentices, new employees or foreign labors.
• Familiarity with the Taiwan piling construction market, equipment and construction practices.
• Experience with different brands and types of Rotary Drilling Rigs, Augers and related equipment.
• Basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting capability.
• RETIRED OR SEMI-RETIRED SENIOR PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE WILLING TO WORK AS PROJECT-BASED CONSULTANTS / TECHNICAL TRAINERS ARE ALSO STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.
